About
The Artist
Angela Sasser is a military brat hailing from North Carolina. She
spent much of her childhood traveling abroad with her family to
Saudi Arabia, Germany, Colorado, Texas, and finally Georgia, where
she has settled in a quiet corner.
Angela graduated from the University
of West Georgia with a BA in English and a BA in Art. She recieved a Masters in Arts Administration from the Savannah College of Art
and Design (thesis pending). As an artist
and a writer, she enjoys exploring the relationship between writing
and visual illustration.
Influences
Angela has long been a fan of world mythology and any stories telling
of the human soul, particularly Grimm's and Anderson's fairy tales. Her main influences include artistic movements such as art nouveau, pre-raphaelite art, and surrealism.
